This leadership model underpins our work at the Inspiring Leaders Network developing senior leaders in health and social care. We believe that Leadership Skills, Effective Networks and Relationships, and Leadership Behaviours are all required for effective organisations and systems and a thriving culture.
We support existing and aspiring Executive Directors and senior managers to develop the behaviours and skills that they need. We work with them to understand the knowledge of the tasks, duties and responsibilities of modern, progressive leaders that are required. And we give them the opportunity to develop effective networks and relationships. This all works together to support an effective organisation or system optimising the rich, cognitive diversity inherent in our public service and contributes to a culture where people can thrive.
Our unique ShadowBoard programme offers the opportunity – guided by the ILN team who have significant board-level experience gained through a variety of different backgrounds – for participants to immerse themselves in real-time, relevant and impactful board activities.
